  • WEEK 2-Personal Side of Leadership

    Students will explore emotional intelligence, traits and ethics in leadership situations. 

    • Learning Outcomes

      • 2.1 Describe how emotional intelligence contributes to leadership effectiveness.
      • 2.2 Identify traits and key motives that contribute to leadership effectiveness.
      • 2.3 Distinguish between task-oriented and relationship-oriented leadership behaviors and attitudes.
      • 2.4 Understand how leaders use 360-degree feedback to improve their performance.
      • 2.5 Distinguish between the autocratic and participative leadership styles.
      • 2.6 Determine how to choose the most appropriate leadership style.
      • 2.7 Specify key principles of ethical and moral leadership.
      • 2.8 Define steps that leaders can take to foster an ethical and socially responsible organization.
