Dear Senators,
Please save the date and time for our Senate elections meeting: Friday, May 5 from 12-1pm in Kelly Commons 5C. This is a "reading day," so there should be no class conflicts---I hope there are no other conflicts. I checked the Manhattan College Events Calendar and did not see any conflicting events or meetings at that time on the calendar.
It is very important that we reach quorum so that we can hold elections for Speaker, 1st Deputy Speaker, 2nd Deputy Speaker, and Secretary. The Senate Constitution and By Laws has a description of the duties of these officers. If you will be on the Senate next year and are interested in one of these positions, please feel free to ask me about them.
Our next meeting will be this coming Tuesday, April 18 from 3:30-5:00pm in Kelly Commons 5A. President O'Donnell will be giving a presentation at this April meeting on Strategic Initiatives.
