To all KSAS students:
Please join us for study abroad information sessions on Tuesday 2/13 -- they will both be virtual virtual.  Cozy up to your computer in a warm place and join our meetings on Rome/Campania, Italy (Art or History) and Mexico (English).  We will return in person on Wednesday with Portugal.  RSVP HERE! Cupid

Rome and Campania: A new and exciting program. You'll become an expert in the archaeology of the cultures of ancient Italy, starting in Rome, stopping in Naples, and then heading south to explore remnants of classical antiquity. Counts as a Roots class for KSAS students or a liberal arts/general elective.

Mexico: This is a trip for foodies.  You'll eat your way through Mexico City, Puebla, Hidalgo, and Oaxaca while reading about food as it is represented in literature. Come hungry for delicious tacos, tlayudas, tamales, moles, chocolate, coffee, mezcal, and much more.  Counts as Global-Non Western requirement for all KSAS students.

Weds. 2/14 at 12PM in MGL 201
Lisbon, Portugal: Base yourself in this beautiful capital city, then explore surrounding areas such as Evora, Fatima, Tomar, Sintra, and other sites of Catholic, Roman, Jewish, and Muslim significance.  Relax at night with some Fado music. Counts as a RELS requirement for all KSAS students.

Madrid, Spain: You'll spend a lot of time in this Iberian capital city, but also travel to Toledo and Segovia to examine the way in which Spain’s multicultural heritage has been represented in modern and contemporary Spanish culture.
